AFTECH Annual Members Survey 2024
Since 2018, AFTECH has regularly conducted an Annual Members Survey to capture the latest developments in the industry. This ongoing initiative serves as the basis for evidence-based policy advocacy, allowing AFTECH to stay up to date on industry trends and advocate for policies that support the dynamic needs of its members. We would like to thank you for your continued support and participation in the previous Annual Members Survey.
This year, AFTECH collaborated with the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF), an independent economics and finance research institution. This research will investigate additional topics from previous years, such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Here are the full sections of the questions:
1. Fintech Landscape (company information, year of operation, number of employees, market penetration, business model expansion, transaction values, and investment).
2. Implementation of Good Governance (data management, disaster recovery plan, cybersecurity, consumer protection, implementation of international standards and regulation, and implementation of Code-of-Conduct or industry standard).
3. Regulatory Outlook (perception of the current and future regulatory framework).
4. Infrastructure and Technology
5. Skill Gap and Gender Equality
6. Implementation of Financial Inclusion Strategy (targeting unbanked and underbanked segments).
7. Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).
